We divide the Bible into 7 reading sections, which we read one a day if possible. Read these 7 in 6 succession days a week. After you have completed one of the 7 reading sections, start it again from the beginning. Mark the 7 last read positions on the pages with mini adhesive strips.
Old Testament Chapters Number of months needed
Genesis – Joshua daily 1 Chapter 211 9
Judges – Job daily 1 Chapter 267 11
Psalms one a day 150 6
Proverbs – Ecclesiastics daily 2-3 verses 43 14
Song of Solomon – Malachi daily 1 Chapter 259 11
Matthew – Acts daily 1 Chapter 117 5

It may also be possible to read the book of revelation as an 8 section continuously.
If there is not enough time, you can also do fewer reading sections, one chapter AT, one chapter NT always continuously.
God wants your daily Bible reading and quiet time:
You have said, “Seek my face.” My heart says to you, “Your face, Lord, do I seek.” Psalm 27:8 (ESV)
And it shall be with him, and he shall read in it all the days of his life, that he may learn to fear the Lord his God by keeping all the words of this law and these statutes, and doing them. Deuteronomy 17:19
… At the end of every seven years,… you shall read this law before all Israel in their hearing. Deuteronomy 31:10-11
This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Joshua 1:8
The Lord God … awakens my ear to hear as those who are taught. The Lord God has opened my ear, and I was not rebellious; I turned not backward. Isa 50:4-5
